Due to the overwhelming and ongoing need in Japan as a result of the Earthquake and Tsunami, I am offering two special prints as a fundraising project: Leaf Dance at Sunset, and Leaf Dance at Sunrise.

The Leaf Dance sculpture was created on March 14th, just days after and in response to the events in Japan. The sculpture features dried and revived Japanese Maple Leaves rising up into a golden sky on a disk of ice. The circle of ice represents the Rising Sun as seen on the Japanese flag. The leaves themselves have multiple meanings; the lost, or the fractured and fragmented land. But also they represent the prayers and dreams for recovery and healing that WILL come to these ravaged communities.

The prints are available on fine art paper or on stretched canvas. The size of each image is 14” x 21” for both paper and canvas. (Larger prints can be custom ordered, please inquire). Please note: Your print will not have the watermark web address at the bottom of the image as shown above.

Each canvas print will raise $85 and each paper print will raise $40 in relief funds.

Donations will be given to The Red Cross and Save the Children. Both these organizations have strong roots in Japan and will be able to provide good support where it is needed most. Later, we might add a third charity that can help specifically with the re-building efforts.
